  • Great for the whole family!

    I bought this for my boys, ages 9, 7 and 3. We all have a great time playing it! It's even easy enough for the 3 year old to do and have fun. I love that there is no mat or anything, you just use the actual Wii remote. I would recommend this to anyone if you want something fun to do for all ages!

  • It's fun but it's alright!

    My kids thought this game is a lot of fun...until days later we tried the dance central on kinect. First flaws, the sOng selections are good but the prOblem is the songs aren't sung by the real artist so it sounded so lame. Once you start playing the scoring isn't accurate. For instance, you can just move your remote up n down but it'll say youre doing good. After owning Kinect for days, I don't feel like playing Wii anymore....I'm sorry Wii. :( we used to love you but you cost so much to play..constantly recharging batteries or buying them. Ugh!

    Tried this once so far, and trying to coordinate my body with the music. Will come in time. Meanwhile, lots of laughs. The instructions with the stick people on the bottom could be better.

  • Kids love the duets, especially the girl/boy teams

    My kids (ages 13-19) have really enjoyed this game. Some of the dances are silly, but that just adds to the fun and laughs. The duets are new, the Just Dance game only had solo dances, so that's a nice addition. If they come out with a Just Dance 3, we will buy it. Love the product, and my kids are spending lots of time up and moving and sweating, and laughing like crazy!

  • Worst Wii game ever!!

    I'm sitting here watching my wife and daughters play this game and the motion recognition is completely inacurate. My wife and youngest child are sweating and are hitting every movement yet they are getting almost no points. My oldest was hardly moving and now she is sitting on the couch just barely moving her right hand and is getting nearly perfect scores. This has to be the worst Wii game ever. I don't have one, but from everything I've seen and heard, If you want a true movement recognition game for dancing get the Kinect.

  • Very fun game!

    My husband and I love this game! It is so much fun. We enjoy playing with just the two of us, and when we have a group of people over. I like that you can have up to four players at once, so you aren't up there dancing by yourself, feeling like everyone is watching you. They are up there playing at the same time, so you can just dance up a storm and know that they are doing the same! The songs will get stuck in your head, and some of the songs are kinda hard (and not ones that I would normally listen to), but overall I would say this is great for people of all ages! It also gives you a great workout.

    A fun game for my wife and young daughter to play. They aren't big into games but this is right up their alley! Gameplay is fun, easy to understand, and not super hard (you gotta shake it a liitle though!). My wife uses it to change up her workout routine and enjoys it.

  • Coolest Game Ever

    I first found this game a couple days ago while attending my high school girls soccer team's team dinner. It was so much fun to sit and watch the girls bond together while looking like dorks! lol. I finally decided I would join in and I couldn't believe how much fun it really was. I loved it so much that I went out and had to buy a Wii myself just so I could own this game! I can't wait to recommend this to more people than I already have!

  • Fun, but needs more songs

    Great game for those looking for a little entertainment. The song choices are pretty good but there could be more to make it really good. I do warn people that some of the movements won't get picked up but this was with just the standard wii remote. If you are looking for a game for some quick entertainment without the all the fancy stuff, this is a good game to have.

    This game is pretty fun. I've worked up a sweat many times. There is a variety of music and levels. My 70 year old parents play along with my 7 year old cousins. I don't know if its because my TV is mounted to the wall and sensor bar is above it but it doesn't pick up all the dance moves. That's my only problem.

  • Fantastic Game!

    I have this game and loved playing it with my 5 year old niece. She's in the beginning stages of coordination and LOVED the game because it didn't kick her off or "boo" her for not having a high score. It really is fun for a family game night, date night, or to exercise. LOVE IT!!!!!

    My family and I absolutely love playing this game! There are quite a bit of different genres on this game, so it's fun to go outside of your norm and dance. My 6 year old even has a blast with it. It gets your butt off the couch and gets you sweating, all while having a great time!

  • The Best dance game that I've bought

    I think this game is the best thus far. I also owned Boogie Superstar but this workout is much better. I love the music and the choreography. Some of the music includes " They eye of the Tiger " which the males are not afraid to dance because the dance moves are more like you are training with Rocky. My cousin who is 4years old like "who let the dogs out and his score was better than mines. I have only own the game for less than 24 hrs but by far I am happy with my purchase. With Boogie Superstar you were able to create your own dancer, personalize their clothes, personalize their look. So Far with just dance you chose just a symbol for you as you dance. Also with boogie superstar if you are doing group dance you are able to see your avatar do the same moves you are doing but It doesnt work like that with Just Dance. But Its still a plus in my book. Its so good that it was recommeded to my by my cousin, then I recommended it to my outher cousin who bought hers today and It will be my sisters birthday gift. And, it did bring the family together because Wednesdays are now Just Dance days.

  • Fun game for family and friends

    We bought this game for my 55 year old mother, to help keep her active. We were soon fighting over who got to play. Within 2 weeks all of us purchased our own copy to play at home (even one family who had to buy a wii first). Not a bad way to get a little cardio in while having fun, and making yourself look like a complete dork!

  • A workout that's fun!

    This is the only Wii game I play with my kids and I love it. It has a wide range of songs spanning many generations. The dance moves are fun and some times funny. The only thing I wish were better is the graphics...pretty 2-D and boring. It gets the job done though because I'm usually worn out and sore after doing a few songs!

  • So much fun!!!!

    I played this game with some friends and family at a party. I went out and bought it the next day! I have used it every day since. I dance to a song or two whenever I get a chance during the day and then do severral songs after my kids have gone to bed. It is the first thing that has really motivated me to excerceise in a long time. Excercise is not work when it is this much fun. I love the songs and there is a good selection. The only downfall is that I wish there was an option to purchase or unlock more songs. After doi thnge 32 songs several times - I'm ready for more variety.

    This game is one of the most fun games so far i've purchased yet. I am 40 years old and purchased it for myself although I brought it home and my 3 and 6 year olds want to play it quite often. It is a workout in a half which is a good thing because your having fun while your getting your exercise. Once we start playing we can't stop for at least 2-3 hours, its very addicting.

    I bought this game for myself today. I was looking for something that would be fun, but that I could use as a work out too. I sure found it.   • Great fun and exercise!

    This game is a blast! We took it to a party and everyone wanted to play. It's also a full body workout compared to playing DDR. The first time I played I did the warm-up mode first and it took me through numerous stretching exercises that I thought were silly. That is until I played the game and my body hurt all over a few days later. My only complaints would be the limited playlist and that the scoring is not very accurate. If you approach the game as a fun way to get some exercise and not focus so much on the scoring, it's a blast!

    This is a very fun workout. It has a lot of good songs, new and old. The only glitch is that the Wii doesn't always read the movements because my husband keeps beating me and he never dances, unlike me who is a dancing fool.

  • Wow am I gettin old!

    What a blast my youngest daughter and I had trying to dance with this game. We were just giggling like crazy. It is a workout, so it would espcially be alot of fun for someone who is outta shape and trying to get back in. You can't help but laugh! Makes for good clean fun when the snow is piling up and your teenager or any kids for that matter are gettin bored. Not that I have this game even begun to be mastered, but I hope they are workin on the next one for when I do have get in shape after doin this first one.

  • the best Wii game I ever bought

    Ok so I saw the commercial for this game and was just like I want it without even knowing what this game was about. It was on sale one day I went into BestBuy and had a $5 off coupon so I bought it on a whim. That was the best decision I ever made! It's so much fun and you get such a great workout! It's more fun when you have people to do it with. Up to 4 people can do it. And it's great because some songs you can totally rock at like me with Hammer Time (which is a really hard song) and then really stink at another (The Beach Boys). I love this game and can play it for hours until my arms and legs don't work. There should be more songs, but it's still fun to keep playing them because then you get to know what the moves are so you get better at them. There are really random songs on there too like Jin Go La Ba, but that song is a lot of fun!

  • Best dance game yet

    I played Parappa the Rapper and some of the other dancing games long ago, and wanted to actually dance with the characters, instead of sitting on my butt pressing buttons. Dance Dance Revolution isn't really dancing. Now my wish has finally come true with Just Dance! Up to four people can play, and they can stand in front of each other, the Wii Remote sensor sees everyone. The game sensitivity is relaxed enough that children can get a decent score, but strict enough that you will not be able to get a good score by cheating (sitting in a chair flapping your arm). But who would want to do that? This is a great party game, it gets people up on their feet and having a good time. I really like a third of the songs; a third are acceptable, and a third leave me wondering what they were smoking when they picked them. (New Kids On The Block?! Spice Girls?! Spluh!) I wish they'd picked a different Fatboy Slim song, he's made so many other good ones. But I am surprised how much I like the Elvis remix. I really hope they make a sequel with different songs, maybe with a more adult rating so they can include songs with explicit lyrics, like Sean Paul's Get Busy.

  • THE BEST Wii game EVER!!!!

    I ordered this hoping our 3 kids ages 7,4 and 3 would enjoy it...it is so GREAT that my husband and i fight with the kids about our turn! FOUR people can dance at a time as long as you have 4 remotes. You compete with one another. We only have 2 remotes, so we all wait anxiously for our turn. Songs are great. There are new songs and old ones. Difficulty is based on the song you choose. It is such a workout! We feel it is way more fun and more of a workout than the Wii fit because you dance to music you like and boy is it a workout!! My 73 yr old Mom just ordered it after using ours and so did my sister for her family of five! So the age range of music on it is really good. I got it from BB when it was on sale for $29.99, i'd buy it for $50, that's how good it is!!

  • Just Dance is Just OK

    I was excited to get this game as I thought it would be a great dancing game. I was disappointed that the on screen dancers were just basically a person's image that danced to the song and the motion/direction of the Wii remote scrolled across the bottom. I was expecting a dance floor with other characters, to include your own, dancing around. I've played it twice now and I'm not sure if there is more to it than what I've described, but if there is I haven't seen it yet. My daughter got pretty bored with it after about 2 minutes. She sat in the chair and moved her arms around to it but that was pretty much it.

  • Fun game, great workout!

    At first I thought this game was just you moving randomly to the music but it isn't like that (although I think it's an option I just haven't played yet). You follow the on screen dancer and mimic the moves. Points are awarded by having your moves mimic the dancer. But, who cares? You are having too much fun to even notice the score! My teenagers loved it as did I. I also am going to use this for my daily workouts...it really works up a sweat. Not to mention I think my dance moves are going to improve as there are a lot of new dance moves to learn!

    Just Dance is a cool Wii Game that involves fun and easy dance moves! I absolutely love it and everytime I do it it's like I'm completing a fun workout because I am worn out...lol! The graphics are easy to follow. The only negative aspect of the game is that it doesn't have a wide variety of music (i.e. R&B, HipHop, Country).

It could you use more songs, I think there are 30 of them and it should be a bit more sensitive to your motions but otherwise we really like it and can't wait for a second version to hit the market.

    With this game you didn't have to think too much or anything. You basically have to have some kind of rhythm--good that is--and follow the trainers on the screen. I also like that you can do a warm up before each performance!

    My friends and I had such a great time playing this. We did all the songs in one day and played again all that weekend. What kind of sucks is there are only 32 and I guarantee you will absolutely love 28 out of 32 songs. The other four are just "ok." It's So fun you'll have a great time over and over trying to out score your friends! I wont post a video because those moments are just way too embarrassing but tons of fun.

  • More fun than I originally thought

    When I first got the game, it was for the kids. I thought it would be lame overall. I did give it an honest attempt with my daughter and found that it was more fun than I thought. It did help me realize how much older I've gotten over time. I was winded by the 2nd song. I wish that they had a larger song list. I also wish that the current song list was more modern. That's ok though. My kids, as well as myself and wife, love it. I should lose some weight by summertime playing this game.

    Bought this game as a gift for my niece and nephew, but ended up loving it myself! It is so much fun! There is a wide variety of music (although not my type), but that doesn't matter, because you want to get up and move! The images on the screen were pretty easy to follow and it is a GREAT workout! I will be getting this for myself to use as exercise because it can be that intense, if you want it to be. Great for young and old. Very fun, simple, positive game.     I love this game. It is easy and fun for my neighbors kids, ages 7-10, as well as for the parents, and myself. We had a great time! And it really is a workout. Im sore today after about 2 hours of dancing yesterday, you really get into it. Only downside is that it doesn't have that many newer songs on it, I was expecting Lady Gaga's song Just dance to be on the game just dance, but oh well. Maybe there will be additional songs you can purchase later on the network, such as with guitar hero...

    The game is hilarious. And even though wii isn't known for their graphics I like the way this game was setup. Everything is very simple and they capitalize on style rather than ultra realistic. Great game for parties are groups, I myself thought I would never play this game but and only bought it to please the wife but after watching everyone do a couple of songs I couldn't help but try it out myself and it was great. The scoring isn't accurate but that's not what this game is about! If you like to do lots of entertaining then this game is great to have on hand.

    The title of the game says it all ....Just dance man. This game really turned my holdiay season around. Finals owned my crack...but got this as an early christmas present and haven't thought of bad grades since. Clubs...yeah ...I am the club scene now...Miley cyrus has nothing on me.

  • Great Party Game

    If you want a good party game, and are not shy then this game is for you. You mimic the dance moves shown and end up with some pretty funny stuff. I don't know who had more fun-those of us who were dancing or those who were watching us making fools of ourselves. Even our young kids were able to do it and had a blast. I'd recommend it.Excellent music!! Wish it had more songs but what they did have was great-better songs than dance dance revolution
