  • Good size

    What can a person say about a card? The only thing I would suggest is that if you're utilizing a better camera (DSLR), get a faster card than this. But, this will do just fine. We'll see how it lasts after many reformatting (which you should do when you dump images onto your computer)

  • Vegas videos are safe!

    All our Las Vegas videos were in our camcorders memory for about 9 months. Our cameras memory was nearly full so we bought 2 of these cards. Well it took almost both cards, but our videos are finally safe. Now i'll be buying a few more of these to record MANY videos of my new Grandson!

  • Plenty of space for my photographic needs.

    In the course of a day, I take many photos. Not having to switch out memory sticks on a regular basis and continue taking photos is a definite advantage.

  • Not so Great

    Has problems when you load in your CPU has to read multiple times before you can copy items to the SD card which is frustraiting, but seems to be only when you are trying to write files to the discs once files are on them there is no problem but as stated before it is frustraiting trying to get it to load for the first time, CT

    It has a quick read/write time in camera and to the computer. In a 15 meg. camera it holds about 1000 pictures, 230 in RAW

  • Great memory card for Nintendo Wii

    I use this memory card for my Nintendo Wii, and it works great. Easy transfer, and 8gb gives you A LOT of storage space. Price is a bit high (though I was lucky to get it on sale), but overall a very good memory card

  • Good product for non HD camcorder.

    After using your web site to find the product I needed, I realized which memory cards were for HD camcorders and saw this was the stage catagory I needed. Not as pricy as the higher graded memory cards that would not have made a difference for my camcorder, the FS300 Canon. Works great of course. Enough memory to outlast the battery and am satisfied with the product.

  • great bang for the buck memory card.

    i bought this card because it was the cheapest card in the store. it isn't compatible in my cheap card reader but it stores plenty of pictures/video and transfers quickly from inside the camera.

  • Good capacity, not so great for repetitive shots

    I use this in my Canon Rebel T2i, and it's great for regular shots. If you're taking a lot of quick shots, though, it takes a while for the photos to be written on the card. The in-between time from when you take the shot until it's finished writing it makes you lose some valuable shots. If you're taking sports or other fast-action photos, I'd recommend getting another card; for regular shots, though, go for this one.

  • SLooooooW

    This card was part of a kit, so it was really cheap. However, when i started using the card, i realized that this card is insanely slow at writing photos. You have to wait around 3 seconds for the camera to stop saying recording. However since it was part of the kit, i can't complain. But if you're buying the card separately, cough up a few bucks and get a better card.

  • Not suitable for some Samsung video cameras

    Purchased a Samsung video camera along with the SanDisk memory card to use with the camera. Camera would not function due to the speed of the card not comparable with camera so I was told by sales associate after trying several identical cameras with this card. Tried a PNY card and all cameras worked fine!!!

    For a very nice price, this card fit a Canon camera SD960 and it can save 2500 pictures with 12M! This way, I don't need to download the pictures so often. Very nice package. I'm very happy.

  • don't buy class 2

    Don't buy a class 2 memory card. They are slow. Especially with digital cameras that have 10 mega pixel or more you will wait several seconds before each picture saves. Get a class 6.

    Card, without a self container, was in large plastic container. In cutting it open, I nipped the side of the card, renduring it useless.

  • Great memory card

    I have 3 of these cards. I use them with my HD JVC EVERIO HM200. So far no problems. One card gives me about 1.3 hours of HD recording. I strongly recomend these cards!

  • 8GB sandisk

    The sandisk 8GB SDHC card is a great memory card for a camera. It can hold a huge capacity of files. At $42.99 I think it is a little pricey, but I have seen bestbuy have it on sale for $29.99 before. At $29.99 it is definitely worth getting for your camera or I even think the nintendo dsi uses this same type of memory now. It would definitely be worth having for your nintendo dsi since you can put music and photos onto it.
