  • Love the yoke and throttle quadrant

    I like using this versus a joystick. The only issue is the instruction booklet for programming the quadrant throttle is very weak

  • Solid yoke with decent features

    I have used this yoke and throttle for about 2 weeks now. I previously had another popular brand of yoke for many years. This one is a bit bigger, and feels more solid. It also better mounts to the desktop so it doesn't slide around so easily. I like the choice of switches on the yoke and throttle quadrant, which can easily be assigned as needed. While there is no flap lever, i was able to assign one of the trims to act as the flap switch. The clock is a nice touch as it displays both computer time (not flight sim time unfortunately) and has a stop watch feature. The yoke movement is a little nicer than the other brand, although it still sticks under fine movements. The centering detents are too strong, in my opinion, and can make flying near the centering points a little annoying. An adjustable tension and centering detent would have been nice to allow for just the right feel. The throttle quadrant comes with some swappable knobs and a reverser capability which is great, and overall the throttle works well. Strangely they used a PS2 style connector on the cable from the throttle quadrant to the yoke, whereas additional throttle quadrants (which can easily be added) plug in with USB. That said, the yoke has 2 USB ports which is nice for additional peripherals. In summary, this is a solid, dependable yoke that should last for a long time and provide many hours of trouble-free service.

    Wow, talk about a totally new flight experience. I've been playing the Microsoft Flight Simulators for years with the Saitek X-52 system and decided to upgrade. This yoke is extremely accurate, has numerous toggle switches and buttons for your programming needs. With FSX, you also have the flexibility to accuratley calibrate all ranges and sensitivities. Great yoke... Highly recomend it.
