Excellent Phones
These phones are the bees knees and the cat's meow. I'm an extremely picky electronics consumer. They approach perfection. I wouldn't know how to fault them. Great job Panasonic!

Great value for the money!!!
My wife and I (both of us in mid-30s) recently moved into a larger house and had not purchased new phones in greater than 6 years. We installed the main base in the kitchen, and then put the other charging units in the master bedroom, office, living room and hallway by the other bedrooms. After reading the instructions, they were really easy to set up and program. I really liked the feature to be able to assign a name to each phone (eg. "Kitchen" and "Master Bed"), because my better half has a tendency to leave phones in different locations (or lose them) in the past. Now I can easily identify which one is missing, and use the "phone locator" feature to find it. Also, I really like the intercom feature, and now that the phones are labeled, I know exactly what other part of the house I'm calling. Each phone screen has an easy-to-read face, and the buttons light up when in use - good for nightime. Also, the base DOES have a button that lights up when there are phone messages waiting (and each handset also has a "message waiting" icon that appears for the same purpose). I make mention of these features because I was almost dissuaded from buying them based on another user's complaint of their absence. Overall, one of the best purchases for my home in years! We haven't found anything seriously wrong with them at all.

Excellent phone for the money
I have had many other cordless phones and this is the best. Super clear reception on both ends of the conversation. Couldn't say that with the previous phone set. I've had no issues with accessing/using the many stated features of the phone. Can't go wrong with this set.

Not loud enough
I've gone between Unidens and Panasonics for years. I've had the Uniden most recently and thought I'd try the Panasonics. The quality seemed good. But, the sound wasn't loud enough. There's always noise in my household so I returned this unit. I went back to the Uniden which was just loud enough.

Not bad, but a few flaws.
I have only had the phones for a few days. So I have not had a chance to put them through a real work week as yet. I bought these to replace a Uniden system that was wonderful, just old and battered. These new phones seem nice and have some great features, which you can read about everywhere. However, some flaws that I have noticed are: 1 - The Voice Mail Waiting indicator light is on the top/back of the phones. So unless you are standing above and looking at the back of the phone, you won't know you have a message waiting. 2 - The headset plugin portal is in a bad location. When your headset is plugged in, you can't hold the phone normally in your hand. The plug is about 1.5 inches from the bottom left side of the phone, rather than near the top, which would allow you to hold the phone normally. I use my headset ALL the time, so this is a bit awkward for me. 3 - There is a slight hiss on the phones, not the crystal clear reception that I was expecting with the new DECT technology. Not too bad, but enought to annoy me. I expected better in this day and age. So far, seems like a good system. Although I can't give it top ratings, I have high hopes for these phones.
