  • good value for the money

    I have had this trimmer for about a month now and am very satisfied with it. The battery was charged on reciept and hasn't needed to be charged yet at all. Trims nicely and I like the great adjustability of the length guard.

  • Terrible for beards

    The variable head trimmer comb seemed like such a great idea, but in fact, it is almost impossible to get an even trim. The numbers on the wheel have no bearing on the length of the cut. It's going back to the store. Waste of time and money.

  • This Useless Thing Sucks

    The trimmer head adjustment HAD a VERY flimsy and sharp plastic that USED TO catch under the chin when I used it. I say, "HAD", and, "USED TO", because after purchasing this product less than 8 weeks ago I used it to shave my beard, washed it under the tap to remove the cuttings, shock it to get the excess water out and the trimmer adjustment flew off the head, hit my wash basin and snapped into 3 pieces. I now have the perfect trimmer for using on Zero length cutting. Oh wait, I DON'T USE ZERO FOR MY BEARD TRIMMING. So I now have a USELESS piece of junk ready for the bin. Save your money and pick a different item. You'll be sorry if you purchase this one.

  • Good Performance for the Price

    I purchased this to use to cut our families hair - mine and my two boys. One of my kids has extremely thick hair that has posed problems with the previous two shavers we have tried. This shaver handled his hair effortlessly. The main problem is that when cutting moderate to large amounts/lengths of hair, it gets caught in the attached comb and you have to stop and clean it out or cutting performance suffers. If you have shorter or thinner hair to cut, this will not be a problem. It's not perfect, but for the low-end of the price range, it's not realistic to expect it to be. I still recommend this because it is the best we have tried at this price point.

  • It's not good for hair.

    Before I start my review I want everybody to know I bought the Panasonic trimmer mainly for hair. Now the good thing about this trimmer is that it's pretty good for your beard. It does a pretty good job on trimming my beard and shaping it. Ok now for the bad news. It is just awful for your hair. The guide comb is the main reason why this trimmer isn't so good. The way the comb is, hair gets stuck in the combs teeth so that makes it harder to get a nice and neat trim. For every three strokes I had to take out the guide comb, clean the trimmer and the comb and then put the comb back on the trimmer and set up the measurement for the comb all over again. I had to do this for EVERY THREE STROKES. Using this trimmer for my hair was just too annoying and it just wasted too much of my time. If you are planning to get this for trimming hair don't get it, instead get something from Remington or Wahl; their hair clippers are much better.

  • Just What I Wanted

    I decided to grow a full beard and soon realized it needed trimming. This Trimmer not only took care of my beard, it is excellent for hair trimming about the ears and nape of neck. The savings in trips to the barber will pay for this Trimmer in no time! Plus the charge lasts for a very long time!

  • Not Impressed

    I have had many others in the past that performed way better then this. If you need a close cut, say the back of your neck or if you are like me and close cut your face and throat after a weeks growth before shaving it is very uncomfortable and snags/pulls a lot with just the trimmer exposed (the plastic cover off). I have only used this once so far, but did not encounter any charge holding problems.

  • Broke after 3 months.....

    I was really excited to buy this product after reading all the outstanding reviews, this was the first set of cordless hair trimmers that we have bought and at this point, possibly our last. Right from the first time I used it to trim my hubby's hair I was sorry we had gotten these! It took twice as long to get an even cut as it had with our old corded set. It barely had enough battery to get through that cut! Then after charging it again, I tried to trim my son's hair, after wetting it down, since it boasted that it could be used on wet or dry hair, and it was horrible! Left several long spots that I just couldn't get and of course it ran out of battery before I could get it all even! Maybe I got a dud, its always possible, but after only three months, it doesn't work at all, no matter how long I charge it........

  • Excellent machine

    This machine has everything in one, without additional attachments combs cut the hair to 14 different length. It is possible to use connected or with batteries that can last up to 4 uses without recharging. In addition it is possible to wash directly in the faucet. It is an excellent machine.

  • Buy this trimmer

    I simply love this trimmer. The adjustable guide stays firmly in place & trims evenly all over. You can trim your head (or anywhere on your body) quickly and comfortably. It works perfectly and is a great value.

  • The best hair shaver i have ever used

    Wet or Dry. Cuts hair fast and accurate. Has all the built in different lenths for cutting. It even has a built in trimmer. I am so sold on this product. I will definatly buy a panasonic face shaver after this great product.

  • Exellent

    I bought this a couple of months ago. I have loved it ever since. It is the quietest shaver I have ever heard. With the attached guide, it is very easy to cut my hair. I use setting # 3 (very short) on my head, and cut my hair every two weeks. After the initial charge, it charges rather quickly. Saves me alot in hair cut cost. If you purchase this, you won't regret it. It paid for itself the first month of use.

  • really nice trimmer

    This trimmer is great! It has 14 different settings for cutting length, so that does away with all the different attachment combs it would otherwise need. It's washable under the faucet, and I noticed that most of the hair it cuts off stays inside the adjustable comb instead of falling all over the place. The adjustable comb can be removed for an even closer cut. And when I went to Best Buy to get it, it was the least expensive of all the different trimmers available at the time. It works really good.

  • Save a lot of money on haircuts!

    I bought this to give myself haircuts because I was sick of paying $20 every 5 weeks. My one time $30 has already paid for itself! Very easy to use and clean, would definitely recommend it to all men with a fairly "simply" haircut.

  • I love this Trimmer

    What I like is that it has enough power to cut my hair even in cordless mode and i can adjust the cut length without changing anything. its very easy to clean this unit , you can even wash it!. The detail trimmer seems useless but when i tried it it did the job. Another pro: It is very quiet and goes for a long time with 1 charge. You wont be dissapointed.

  • Best Cheap all-round trimmer shaver!!

    I had bought this Trimer out of sheer necessity. I was desperate for a new shaver/trimmer because the last one I had just didn't cut it for me! The trimmer works great and I really loved the stand that comes with it that allows the user to store all the attachments that come with it and it also houses the trimmer when its not in use. It is rechargeable and after the initial charge charges pretty fast. The blades are nice and sharp 4 months after I purchased and it still trims my goatee pretty smoothly. It has 14 settings that can be used to trim hair to different lengths. It has a detail trimmer that works really well too. All in all its a good multitasking product that works really well too.
