Love this Camera!!! Awesome! Would Recommend!

Bought this camera the 1st week in October because my husband and I were leaving on the 10th of October for a 6 day cruise to the Bahamas so I wanted a Great Camera to take pictures with but also that did videoing and took pictures under water. We went to Best Buy to buy this camera but they did not have it in stock so got a lot of information about it while I was there and when I got home I ordered it off the internet and I'm glad I did because not only did I get a good deal in the pricing of the camera but also got a free memory card and free shipping. It arrived at my house within 3 days after ordering it. So I charged the Battery and didnt use it until our cruise and OMG this Camera Rocks!! It takes the BEST pictures!! It takes them fast too, no waiting between shots and I Love that feature! I bought a 16G memory card so I could have at least 1 hour of video and I'm glad that I did, video is awesome! Using it underwater was Great, No problems with that! Took some awesome pictures in the ocean at Bahamas! I did buy an extra battery but didnt even need it the whole trip just recharged every nght for the next day. I recommend this camera! It is Awesome!!

Serves its purpose

We originally only bought this camera because of it's waterproof feature. We planned on it replacing our old digital camera, but I think we'll be using a little of both. We've used it in the water over ten times and have had no issues with it being water tight. We are not entirely pleased with the picture quality. Some times the pictures look great and other times the pictures only come out alright. They are just not quite as crisp as I would expect. I tried using the sports mode to capture some moving objects and the pictures were entirely blurry. We do love the panorama feature and the dog recognition actually works really well!

My particular camera was not waterproof

took camera on vacation to carribean. Camera filled with water in a few feet of water and ruined camera and pictures from vacation.
