  • The Best Screen Cleaner

    I went back to Monster Screen Cleaner after trying 2 other brands. This is simply the best product for cleaning my TV and laptop screen. It has remained at $20 for many years but the cloth is much smaller.

  • disappointed with results

    Monster is an excellent company that makes great products, but I am disappointed with their TV screen cleaning kit. The spray seems to clean the screen, but left behind a cloudy residue that required additional cleaning with clear water to remove. For what it cost, it should have been not only spectacular at cleaning, but left no residue behind.

    I got this cleaner for my IPad and is the best!!! I went to Best Buy to find a cleaner for my iPad and one of the sales person recommended this, I use it for all my electronics screens, computers, TVs, even work great on my power mat, for the price is really worth it.

    I used this as directed with a microfiber cloth. It does nothing but streak. I used iut on my tablet and LCD TV and had to use water to get the streaks off the big screen.

  • Not cheap, but works like magic!

    I bought this cleaning kit for my Android tablet. It was expensive, but so was the tablet, so I wanted to take care of it. I'm glad I bought it. Tablets (and smart phones, laptops and TV's) get really smudged up with fingerprints, dust, whatever. I just spay a bit of the cleaner on the microfiber cloth that came with it and it gets the screen perfectly clean. No streaks or anything. I don't write many reviews, but this works so well that I wanted to let other people know about it.

  • Keep your screen clean and lint free!

    This is the product to have on hand to keep your HDTV clean and lint free. Since my new Sony Bravia HDTV does not have a heavy glass front screen like my old televison, I feel it is important to use the best product to clean and protect the special screen that is on the HDTV's. This product does the job!

  • Great Item

    This is a great cleaner. It cleaned several streaks on my LCD TV screen without any hard rubbing. The supplied cloth is very soft and did not leave any scratches or lint. The only issue I had was the bottle is too big and a little expensive. But a great product overall.

  • Excellent Product... works just as advertised

    My 9 Year old daughter was playing with sticky fingers (rubbery fingers that you throw at the wall and they work their way down by use of a sticky substance). She threw one right at the brand new 47" LED TV. Much to my dismay, i could not remove the substance with anything. Went down and purchased the Monster cleaning kit and it took care of the issue almost immediately. This is a great product!!!

  • Cleaning solution is fine; do NOT use this cloth

    The cleaning solution works well. But, after a couple of couple of days, I started noticing a couple of very fine scratches showing up on the black border around the screen. I tried to buff it out because I thought it was a cleaning scuff mark, and the scratches got even worse. After a while, I realized that all my scratches came from the cloth! The more I used the cloth, the worse things got. I got this thinking I would be keeping my computer in great shape, but the cloth ended up making things much, much worse. Get the cleaning solution if you'd like, or get another package altogether.

  • Worked great!

    My daughter got into my lip gloss and smeared all over the bottom half of my Toshiba LCD TV. I tried everything dry cloth and damp cloth. it just smeared it even worse. I called Toshiba and they recommended 2 parts water one part alcohol dampened microfiber cloth to clean the screen (CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR YOUR TV SCREEN BEFORE CLEANING IT WITH ANYTHING!!!). When that didn't work i called back and they told me to buy a cleaner. Got this cleaner and it took a little work because of how sticky the lip gloss was but it came right off. And the lip gloss was only on part of the screen so I had a large unaffected part of the screen to compare to. the area i cleaned looked as clean as the un-lip glossed part. (dont spray the screen directly, I sprayed the cloth and wiped in circles then used a dry part of the cloth until it was completely dry. Like new.

  • Too Expensive for What It Does

    I bought this for my plasma TV that my toddlers love to put finger prints on. This stuff smears, smears, smears. I actually get a good workout on my arms when I clean my TV, try to get rid of the smears. The microfiber cloth is nice, but the cleaner never gets my TV screen good and clean. On the other hand, it works pretty well on my laptop screen, but I bought it for my TV. I keep using it because it's better than nothing, but when it runs out I'll be looking for something else. If anyone knows of anything, please leave a comment. Thanks!

  • Good product that doesn't damage the screen

    I bought this product after 3 months of buying a HD LED TV. I tried to initially clean it with a general cleaning liquid and it caused some marks , smudges on the screen. Then I bought the Monster cleaning kit and it was handy. It comes with the liquid spray and a wiping cloth. I followed the instructions as given (spray the liquid on the cloth and wipe in clock wise direction on the screen where there are marks) . The liquid worked well for my TV. Although I tried to put more pressure while wiping, it caused some smudges at the ends, I was able to get rid of them the next time I cleaned them properly. But the product is a little expensive. Hoping that the makers would try to reduce the price or reduce the amount of liquid and reduce the price too. The present contents of the bottle seems would be good for 20 - 25 wipes for a 42 inch TV screens. All the customers may not need this much amount of liquid. Well it all depends on how the Manufacturer decides..

  • Junk don't buy it!

    This product does not work it leaves a residue no matter how many times you go over it with the micro fiber cloth. The micro fiber cloth is nice but other then that they should pay you $19.99 for using it because it simply does not do a good job. I have yet to find a good screen cleaner and I have tried many different kinds/brands. Basically your paying $19.99 for the micro fiber cloth. I have tried this on my 52 inch Sony LCD TV, 40 inch Sony LCD TV, 20 inch Samsung LCD computer monitor, 17 inch Dell LCD computer monitor, 5 different laptop screens ranging from 14 inches all the way up to 17 inches, 2 Droid X'S, iphone 4, and an itouch. Basically I tried it on everything and I was not completely happy with any of the results.

  • Great Product, but a little pricey

    When we purchased our new TV, the salesperson told us about this product. I was skeptical at first especially when she told us it was $20, I figured it was just another sales add on that they were trying to sell. But, now that I've used it, I have to say I am really impressed by the fact that the dust that usually sits on your screen doesn't come back very quickly. It seems to repel the dust and keep it off. I dusted my TV screen 2 weeks ago and just checked it again and there's no dust on my screen. I have even used it on my black smooth surface appliances and my computer screen. I'm excited to find other uses too.

  • whay pay for something free like water?

    No harsh chemicals are recommended on most electronic devices so I'm sure there is nothing but food coloring in water in the supplied bottle. Plus, who doesn't own a bunch of microfiber cloths from Costco anyway. Well, wanted to keep a happy marriage so I bought when our 3D TV bundle was purchased.

  • A must have

    I have 3 large screen televisions that I use this on once a week. This product is perfect, it even comes with a cleaning cloth. The microfiber cloth sticks to your hands and that is annoying but anyone will. Put it right on and wash it right off. Its a great product!!

  • AWESOME!!!!!

    After reading all of the reviews I really almost decided againts buying this. But seeing there wasn't anything else in a name brand I would trust and having a great dane that is notorious for shaking his head right in front of the tv and leaving residue all over it so I had no choice but to buy this and prayed it worked. First and foremost DO NOT SPRAY DIRECTLY ON THE TV!!!!! Spray on the cloth that is supplied and DO NOT SOAK THE CLOTH EITHER!!! A couple of squirts are very effective. I just went left to right (not in circles like other people have said to do) and pressing a little harder where the doggie residue was. After I was done I would inspect for streaks (the only streaks that were ever left on the screen were from where the doggie residue was) I would spray my cloth a couple of more times and go over the spots where it still had some residue and voila!!! Just like it was brand new!! I got no steaks either. I have used on my computers, and own an LCD, Plasma and an LED with the same results.

  • This stuff is magical

    I bought an open-box Panasonic Viera recently, and to transport it safely, Best Buy wrapped the unit in plastic before loading it into my car. Unfortunately, the plastic wrap left a weird oil-looking residue all over the screen and the frame of my brand-new television. I tried mild detergents (diluted windex) to get it off, and computer screen wipes that are supposedly safe for all screen types, but neither of those worked. I then called Best Buy and they suggested this product. At first I was skeptical, becaues Best Buy was selling a product to clean a product I had purchased at Best Buy. But I figured, "For $20, what the heck?" I went home used it, and it came right off. This stuff is great! They provide the cloth and the spray, and to clean the entire 50" screen and frame from this pesky residue literally took two minutes. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and effective way to clean their television screen.

    This product will remove all the dust and fingerprints from your television, HOWEVER it will replace the dirt that is on your television with streaks and smudges. My television looks like garbage after using this product. I now have to find something that will remove the new mess from my television screen. Great product MONSTER....Yeah right.

    I bought this because my cousins kept touching my TV and leaving finger prints and hard smudges all over it and i cant use a TV with smudges on it so i bought this right when they left and tried it and was really amazed at how well this worked!! just spray a little on the cloth and rub the cloth on the TV and it looks good as new!! When this runs out i am going to get more right away.

  • I use it on everything - except my LCD screen

    This stuff is great and the bottle lasts forever. I use it on my HP laptops & printers (laser and All-in-One inkjet), a 58" Panasonic plasma, 40" Sony CRT, Sony receiver, Droid cell phone (we have 2), and Pioneer stereo. I've had the same bottle for over a year! Well worth the money. Please don't use this on your LCD screen. It's made of a porous material. I use the monster cleaner to clean the outer parts, but the only thing I've EVER used to clean my 19" Samsung LCD screen with has been a microfiber cloth. I've had the LCD since 2004 and it's still in good condition.

  • Finally got my monitor clean

    I bought this due to my monitor being sprayed with automotive engine degreaser. Nothing would remove this, it just kept spreading it around. I bought this because a best buy employee told me it would have no trouble getting rid of the substance, they even told me that if it didn't that i can come back and return it. Well i never anded up returning it because it completly removed the degreaser, great product!!!

    I would recommend this to anyone who wants to use a cleaning product and not leave a lasting haze that will ruin plasmas, LCDs, desktops and laptops. This is by far the best product out there. Go Monster or don't go at all!!!

  • Love the Cloth

    How can anyone say this isn;t a 5 for value. its only $20. even the cheapest tv is 8 time more that, and this will keep even that cheaper tv clean for as long as you have it. the cloth same to be eve lasting. i use it for my components ond stand too. this way no chemicals ever get near my electronics. i might actualy get one for my funiture and just use the solution as a replacemnet the one i still have now. its only $20 just get one and save yourself the headach of cleaning your stuff with rags and twoles that leave lint and fibers behind... wheter you see them or not!

  • A great cleaner, but a bit pricey

    This is a great cleaner for computer screens and tv screens. I had no problems concerning scratches or streaks. The only down side is that it's a bit pricey. But if you're going to take good care of your electronics, then this is a great product for cleaning. Monster is a very trusted brand in assuring the best for you're electronics.

  • Some Streaking.....

    This product cleans my iMac screen to perfection every time with little or no effort. My LG LED takes time, you really have to press hard to remove the smudges and smears. My TV was originally on a stand and I could never the smudges/smears out due to the instability of the TV. Once I got it mounted it became easier to clean as the wall gave the TV the stability it needed for a good clean. The product is pricey at $20, but the cloth is awesome for everyday jobs, not just the TV. Only use this on TV's that are very stable and could withstand a hard cleaning.

  • Best screen cleaning product I've ever tried.

    I've used it on a couple of laptop and this product leaves it, basically, like new. I was so impressed by it. I had purchased another product like this one from Radio Shack for less than half the price but it streaked an just smudged the finger prints. Not this one though. The microfiber cloth has an excellent texture and is great for removing dirt and oil from finger prints. It maybe a bit pricey at around $20.00, but it was well worth it. I would buy this cleaner again.

    Here is my personal best result: Product should be applied only to a cold screen.Apply to cloth(included),with very light pressure apply to screen in one direction side to side,let dry,streaks will appear,take cloth(included) rinse with COLD water, ringout cloth Very well,and repeat side to side application,let dry,streaks should dissapear,if not repeat with water moist cloth till streaks are gone.Worked well for me.

  • Good on Dirty Netflix Too!

    I've been using this product for about 4 years or so on my 32" Sony LCD TV. I've never experienced any problems. I recently had problems getting a Netflix to play in my DVD player so I cleaned it with the spray since it is alcohol free and could not believe how much dirt came off that disc. When I put it back in my DVD player it worked great. I just used a piece of an old cotton t-shirt on the Netflix instead of the nice lint free cloth that came with this product so I wouldn't transfer the dirt from the Netflix disc to my TV the next time I clean my TV. I'll never put another Netflix disc in my player again without cleaning it off first.

  • Read the Yellow Caution Card inside the Package

    Please read the yellow CAUTION card (hidden from buyer's view inside the packaging). Monster's Caution states "If product to be cleaned stipulates 'soap and water' cleaning only... do not use this cleaner as a cleaning method. You may return your purchase to your authorized dealer." Being uncertain of SONY's recommendation for LCD screens, I checked their website and read "soft cloth dampened with a solution of mild soap and water". I contacted SONY Technical Support this morning and specifically asked if it would be acceptable to use "Monster ScreenClean" New Alcohol-free formula on my W-series SONY TV. SONY's Tech Rep indicated that it is NOT recommended to use any other solution to clean the screen of my TV, and he reiterated the mild soap and water cleaning method explained on their website. SONY also sent me a follow-up e-mail to take to Best Buy and support my return the cleaner (and to likely insulate SONY from any claim should one of their TV owners use the Monster cleaner on a SONY LCD screen) .

  • As Expected. Great Screen Cleaner

    I've been using this product for 6 months now, and I'm really pleased. I purchased this from a Best Buy store with my new TV, and I clean it, as well as my iPhone, iPod, and Laptops about once a week. I've never washed the cloth, I just shake it out every now and then. I've heard of people having problems with other cleaners degrading their screens, so I chose to go with a name brand cleanser right from the beginning, and I'm glad I did.

  • Monster ScreenClean is junk

    I purchased the Monster-brand ScreenClean product with Microfiber cloth shortly after I purchased a state-of-the-art HDTV (Samsung 1080p LCD). I had been pleased with the quality and performance of my prior purchases of Monster-brand cables, and thought I could rely on receiving a similar quality product. I begin using the ScreenClean product with the accompanying Microfiber cloth, as directed. I was shocked to discover that the product left a visible chemical residue on the entire LCD glass. This is a brand new, expensive HDTV, which has been damaged by this product. In its present condition the TV is not usable, and has been rendered worthless. If I cannot remove this residue, I will need to purchase a new HDTV. I contacted Customer Service at Monster, but have never received a response to my complaint.. I believe this product is defective both as to the design of the formula and cloth, and the manner in which it is manufactured. The product should be recalled and either re-formulated or discontinued.

  • Best purchase I've made in a long time

    I purchased this with my two TV's, laptop, girlfriend's laptop, and desktop monitor in mind. The TV's are a tube and a plasma, and this cleaner worked wonders on both of them. The tube TV I bought used from a smoker and it was amazing to see this cleaner remove years of grime. My plasma has never looked better, and my laptops look as good as new. I did spray the solution directly on my monitor, and unlike a review on here said it did not damage it, I was able to clean it easily, though it was a bit streakier than spraying on the cloth. Going over it again with the damp cloth was enough to clean it up though. I also started to use it on my eye glasses and my cell phone's screen. Overall a great product that I'll continue using for years.

  • Great Screen Cleaner

    I'm usually not a fan of Monster products (over priced), however their screen clean is GREAT! I have a Sony 40W4100 and 2 other smaller LCD tv's that I use this on. Just listen to us (happy) users and not the directions on the bottle. DO NOT and we mean DO NOT spray it directly on the tv!!!!!!!!! (Why anyone would ever spray anything directly on a LCD tv is beyond me). Spray the solution on the microfiber cloth and GENTLY wipe the screen in a circular motion. If needed you can use the other side of the cloth to lightly buff. But for me, it buffs and dries evenly as I wipe with NO smearing or streaking! Used "properly" it will keep your screen looking clean and new. You can also use it to wipe down the bezel.

  • Will ruin TV

    The directions say to spray onto cloth OR directly onto monitor. Trust me you do NOT want to spray directly onto monitor! I did just that and everywhere I sprayed left a smudge/fog like spots on the screen. Anytime the screen is white you can see spots everywhere! Totally ruined my TV in my opinion! Very upsetting.

  • It really works when used correctly

    Great product when used correctly. I used this on my 46inch Sony Bravia LCD HDTV and I have kids who fingerprinted this TV the same week I got It. Only use a tad, tiny, small amount directly on your microfiber cloth and rub on TV in a circular motion. Do not, I repeat DO NOT spray this on your TV like you are spraying Windex on your bathroom mirror it will leave a foggy look to your product and It won't look like a new TV. Other reviews said this was a bad product. I stand corrected this is a great product when used properly.

  • Caution! Be careful w/ this solution...

    I am willing to acknowledge that I possibly purchased a bad bottle, but have to caution shoppers b/c of my experience. I have young kids, so naturally handprints ended up on a couple of our new TVs. I used the Monster solution as directed, and it left horrible streaks all over both screens. No matter which way I buffed, it just left permanent streaks all over the screen. Absolute garbage in my opinion. will never buy it again.

    I bought this product when I bought my 52" Sony LCD Bravia and was told that this was the proper product to use. Well after installing the TV I had finger prints on the screen and sprayed the product on as advised and when I wiped the screen it became extremely foggy. I just figured it would fade like windex does on a window. I didn't, it became worse the more I applied the product. I finally got a dry soft towel and "buffed" the surface until I got it as clean as possible. It alsmost looked better with the finger prints. I used it on my laptop screen and the same thing happened. This product is terrible, I don't reccomend buying it.

  • Horrible

    I just purchased a 55" Samsung 900 series tv and got a few finger prints on the screen when we hoisted it on the wall. I have read all of these great reviews about this product so I went out and got some. Now, I am not sure if perhaps I just have a "bad" bottle of the stuff, but it made an absolute mess out of my screen! I could cover this entire screen in fingerprints and it would look better than this stuff made it look. It not only streaks, but it make the screen foggy, blotchy, and looks scratched. It is going to take hours to try and fix this..if it can be fixed.

    i'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for!! boy was i wrong on this product!. used on my lcd tv screen,did nothing but streak. took me forever to get the streaks out. i have used lcd safe cleaners that are 5x cheaper than this product that worked 10x better. i was told monster products are overpriced and no better than some cheaper brands, should have listened. overpriced product with nothing more than average to below average quality....

  • Works Like a Charm!

    I use this product to clean a Samsung LCD TV and monitor. Works great, cleans and schines with no problems. If you have small children who like to put their hands on the screen, this is for you, it also took dryed milk splashes right of the screen. Good product would recommend!

  • Best Lens, Screen, Glass cleaner yet!

    Best cleaner I have used. This cleaner can be used on your camera, tv, computer monitor, mirrors, glass windows, eye glasses and much more. This cleaner comes with a microfiber cloth that alone helps attract the dust off of whatever you are cleaning, along with not scratching the surface of your tv. Probably the softest cloth that you have ever touched. I use this stuff for everything, including cleaning my eye glases, because I don't want streaks or smudges on them, and scratches would make them useless. Another great application that I use it for is cleaning the inside of my windshield in my car, I find this very effective at keeping dust and smudges from attracting to it. This is very helpful in the winter when your windshield gets a little foggy due to the cold. All in all, great product, worth every penny.

    My nephew ran his little finger across the screen and left a mark down the screen, So i went to bestbuy and got the monster cable cleaning kit and began rubbing the solution on with the shammy, In no time the fingerprint was gone along with the dust that had collected on the screen also. This product really works, It fingers dirt, oils, and other things that you can't see with your eyes till the solution hits the dirt. I recommend this to everyone thats needing a cleaning product for their LCD TV.

    I was really impressed with Monster Screen cleans ability to clean any thing related to electronics. I even use it to clean my remotes. Because of the Gel base, it doesn't run or streak. I am now on my 2nd or 3rd bottle. if the MicroFiber cloth gets dirty you simply throw it in the wash.

  • Effective cleaning

    This product has worked beautifully on my laptop, desktop screen and TV. It has failed me once, on a friends older laptop without that gloss coating. After cleaning I could not get a streak free shine no matter how much a buffed it. It looked worse than before!! I had to take a tissue afterwards to get it clean. otherwise, the cloth it comes with feels soft, yet when rubbed against the skin it grips and grabs! Its highly effective at grabbing stuck on dirt so you dont have to use your fingernails. Only complaint about this package is it doesn't come with something small to clean the corners of a screen.

  • Must have screen cleaner!

    I have had this screen cleaner for almost a year and a half now. Its been great! It cleans everything!!! Lets face it, with the equipment thats available now with piano finish surfaces our finger prints get ALL over them. Squirt Squirt, rub rub, its gone now with this cleaner!!! Great Value!     Fingerprints is something that drives me absolutely crazy and I would always get new ones on my tv and my computer screen. I tried using just a cleaning cloth sort of thing and that would help but not for very long. So, I decided to try the monster cleaning solution. I knew that monster products were awesome, so I gave it a whirl. It is fantastic stuff! I use it on my macbook screen and my tv. It makes it all nice and shiny and fingerprint free! Then I just use the cloth to smooth it all out. I am so glad I bought this stuff because now I don't have to worry ALL the time about fingerprints

    You don't even have to have an expensive TV to take advantage of this stuff. It is pricey off the bat, but you get a Microfiber shammy that makes up for most of it. This works on virtually everything. I use it on my TV, computer monitor, and portable DVD player. Anything at all that has an LCD screen to it. (Camera and Camcorder also). Spend the money. You didn't buy an expensive TV to not keep it clean right.

  • Excellent Product

    I purchased this product when I was purchasing my plasma television. The screen cleaner works extremely well; it cleans off all the dust and dirt and wipes off streak-free very easily. The included microfiber cloth is a necessary accessory to the screen cleaner as it is soft on delicate screens, and microfiber is excellent at picking up all the dust that accumulates on my screen over time. The initial investment is pricey but it lasts for a long time.

  • Only thing you should ever use

    This is the only thing you should ever use to clean your TVs. All new TVs except for Plasma have a screen made of a special polymer that will actually be eaten away by Windex or other household surface cleaners. DO NOT USE THEM. Plasmas, though they have a glass sheet over them, it is not the same kind of glass on your bathroom mirror! It is specially designed for clarity and brightness, and again Windex is harmful. Generally, I do not like monster because I believe there are much better products out there, you pay too much for the name. However, I do admit there is nothing better than this cleaner.

    This is the ONLY product that should be used on screens. From plasma to lcd, to dlp, to lcos, even to crt. This is the best cleaning solution on the market right now, and coming from Monster (the authority in home theater supplies) you know it has to be good. Do NOT use end-dust to windex on your screens!   • Only option for cleaning

    Only thing to use on your HDTV, the microfiber cloth won't scratch lcd, plasma and dlp screens like a paper towel or random things that you may be used to cleaning with around your house. The one thing I have heard is that on Pioneer Plasma's it leaves a milky film, however, I have never witnessed this.

  • Great product for the price

    i use this product for my 47in plasma screen tv. I bought it about a year ago and I am still using it to this day. It can last for a long amount of time. It comes with a microfiber cloth that you definetly need for the newer screens today to prevent scratching them. There is no downside it works great and lasts a long time. GREAT BUY!
